Bunter Untergrund
This project deals with the short lifetime of graffiti. I started with a wall in Heidelberg. Legalized to be painted and sprayed, the wall was painted all over hundreds of times during the last 20 years. My interest in this project is not about the paintings on the surface but in the layers of the paint of the last 20 years. For this I collected ten pieces of the paint by using a hammer and a chisel that I later digitally extracted. The result is a foldable poster with a photograph of the wall on the back and the 10 collections of colors in chronological order on the front. Through the thin 200gr paper the colors shine through the photo on the back.
