Von A nach - Versuche zur Flüchtigkeit
From A to - Experiments in fleetingness
A material is changing to a new phase. My project shows what happens in between, what you can see before A becomes B. The A as the beginning of the alphabet is the beginning of my work. I see the fleetingness not as a phase but as a process, which only allows momentary pictures. By documenting this process I try to conserve the aesthetics of the material while changing it from one to another phase. Each of these signs only exists for this specific moment in which it changes more from the beginning till this is not recognizable or till it has disappeared. All the processes in the newspaper are documented till the end.
The headline on the cover is the only one not printed but bleached out with a stencil and a UV light machine. Under the influence of the daylight the title disappears more and more till you can only read: experiments in fleetingness.
